About Me
I was born in Iran (you may know as Persia). I was an academic person, got my PhD in English Language Studies specialising in using technology in Language classrooms from UKM, National University of Malaysia, and taught at different universities as an assistant professor in Iran for 8 years.I was interested in arts, especially calligraphy-painting, so I started to learn traditional Persian calligraphy at the “Iranian Calligraphers Association".At the same time, in 2015 I started a two-year course in one of the Tehran University’s institutions to learn visual arts academically, so that I could combine painting with calligraphy, as there were not many calligraphy painting courses available at that time. You can check my old sketches, paintings, drawings, print-making samples on this website.Now, calligraphy-painting is very popular in Iran and I have participated in several private and group classes to enhance my skills and learn more from different artists in the field.Welcome to my Artworld!
